D7 Visa Income Thresholds
Unlike Spain, Portugal pegs its D7 visa requirements directly to the national minimum wage (Salário Mínimo Nacional):
- Main Applicant: 100% of the minimum wage (approx. €820 per month or €9,840 per year).
- Spouse/Partner: 50% of the minimum wage (approx. €410 per month).
- Each Child: 30% of the minimum wage (approx. €246 per month).
You must also show a local bank deposit (ideally at least 12 months' worth of requirements) and secure a long-term rental contract.
